After graduate work in architecture and design at The University of Pennsylvania, Sam Mason went on to work for the offices of Peter Marino and The Office of Thierry W. Despont in New York where his cultivation and eye for interiors was developed. He then went on to the office of Robert A.M. Stern where he began the decoration department. Having over 15 years of experience in the world of interior design, designer and stylist of finely tailored and crafted interiors, Sam Masons projects and designs incorporate the use of carefully selected unique antiques together with modern and current product that merge a classically inspired and sophisticated palette together with timeless modernity creating a modernly elegant and chic interior. Sam Mason opened his studio MAISONdeMASON ltd. in 2008 specializing in residential and interior design ranging from timelessly modern and classic interiors in Manhattan, Los Angeles and abroad as well as home interior product ranging from carpets to wall coverings and linens.
